Lest We Forget - Winrey Moore Calhoun - Killed in Action 100 Years Ago Today - 08.08.1918

Winrey Moore Calhoun, 709272, was from  Lower Cape, Albert County, New Brunswick and was born October 10, 1883. He was the son of Mrs. Caroline Calhoun, Cape Station, Albert County, NB. He enlisted with the 104th Battalion on September 25, 1915. He was killed in action at the Battle of Amiens on August 8, 1918 fighting with the 26th New Brunswick Battalion. He is buried at CRUCIFIX CORNER CEMETERY, VILLERS-BRETONNEUX ; Somme, France.
