Clifford Robinson Oulton, Aged 14 Years

Clifford Robinson Oulton, 832241 was from Bridgedale (Coverdale), Albert County, New Brunswick and was born December 2, 1901. He was 14 years of at the time of his enlistment. He was the Son of Dora and the late George Oulton, of Coverdale, Albert Co., New Brunswick. He enlisted with the 145 Battalion on February 1 , 1916. He was listed as died of wounds resulting from action while fighting with the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles (Quebec Regiment) on November 1, 1917 at the Battle of Passchendaele. The cause of death was listed as multiple gun shot wounds. He was only 15 years old. He is buried at NINE ELMS BRITISH CEMETERY (Belgium) .
