Back to work Monday with a trip to the Gypsum Mill in Hillsborough in this 1936 photo. Raw gypsum was manufactured into plaster and plaster of Paris. It was also one of the first plants in Canada to make wall board. Notice the train int the foreground.

Back to church Sunday, with a visit to the old Hillsborough Baptist church.which burned in 1910.

Here is an interesting photo of the buildings which sat where the old Hillsborough Post Office is. This photo was taken before 1913. Tomorrow we’ll see what replaced them.

Last week was supposed to be Hillsborough’s Home Coming Week, which sadly had to be cancelled due to the ongoing health restrictions, so we’re going to be dedicating the rest of this week to HIllsborough in honour of it.
