Heritage Week 2024 takes place February 12th – 19th. This year’s theme is Discover our innovations.
Innovators are the people in our society who have helped us survive, adapt, and improve our lives over generations. The products of their work are the result of solving problems or creative imagining that has shaped our communities and how we live in our environments. Innovators have developed tools, practices, and objects using the resources that surround them. Innovations could include advances in science and technology, or even adapting a recipe to take advantage of local ingredients and creating a new dish to be enjoyed by family and friends.
To enjoy Heritage Week, we will be attending Fundy National Park’s Family Day event on February 19th from 10am to 2pm and will have the Albert County Museum’s Mobile Exhibit on display at the Salt and Fir Centre. Participate in the Heritage Hunt activity to win great prizes!
