Canada Day Open House - RB Bennett's 150th Birthday Celebration

Open House at the Albert County Museum. Free Admission, self-guided tours – from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Live music and special program from noon to 2pm. 150 cupcakes will be given away in the Community Hall. RB Bennett's 150th Birthday Celebration. Canada's 11th Prime Minister was born and raised in Albert County! He led Canada through the worst years of the Great Depression (1930-35), and his legacy as Prime Minister is helping Canada through our current health crisis today. We are proud to be are marking the birthday of this remarkable New Brunswick native, known as “the Rebel who Changed a Nation”. By the way, the next time you listen to CBC radio you can thank RB Bennett – he was instrumental in passing the Canada Broadcasting Act in 1932.
